What are the Errors on the Import/Export Assets Page?

When importing a CSV file into a form, the Red and Yellow highlighted cells on the Import/Export Devices page are warning messages and indicate there are issues in specific cells (Figure 1).

The Yellow highlighted cells do not require resolution in order to import the file. Yellow highlighted error messages are displayed when:

• A non-required cell is empty

The Red highlighted cells on the Import/Export Assets page indicate errors that must be resolved before the CSV file can be imported (Figure 2). Red errors are displayed for all assemblies when:

• A required field is empty  
• A field exceeds the maximum character limit
• The LastTested date is not in proper format
• The Type field does not contain an available type for selection

In (Figure 2), The Red error in the Type column is being displayed because a required field for the device (Type) is empty. The Red error in the Next Year column is being displayed because the entry exceeds the Maximum 4 character limit.
