Define Custom Report Configuration

Complete the following steps from your admin home page to access the Define Configurations page:

1. From the Configuration page, select Custom Reports (Figure 1).

2. The Define Configurations page is displayed (Figure 2).

3. Select a Report Configuration from the selection list. The Define Configurations page for the selected report is displayed (Figure 3).

Note: The options/buttons on the Define Configurations page below are displayed after a report configuration has been selected.

 The following options are available on the Define Configurations page:

OptionDefinition
EditThe Edit button opens the selected report configuration and allows changes to be made.
NewThe New button opens the Add Configuration screen and allows you to create a new report configuration.
Make CopyThe Make Copy button allows you to make a copy of an existing report configuration. The Make Copy feature is particularly useful if you have a customer who requests a report that has similar configuration to an existing report and requires only minor language changes or reordering.
DeleteThe Delete button permanently deletes the selected report configuration.
Expand AllThe Expand All button expands all sections in the report configuration.
Collapse AllThe Collapse All button collapses all sections in the report configuration.

4. Select the Edit button (Figure 4).

5. The Define Configurations page displays the available options you can use to customize your report configuration (Figure 5).

Please refer to the table below for definitions of the buttons/selections available on the Define Configurations (Edit) page.

ButtonDefinition
CancelSelect the Cancel button to cancel the Add/Edit report configuration process.
Save ChangesSelect Save Changes to save changes made to the report configuration.
Configuration DetailsThe Configuration Details button displays the Edit screen. This screen allows you to edit the same information as on the Add Configuration screen.
Add ItemThe Add Item button allows you to add the following components to a report configuration:
Click and Drag to move selected sections or rows within the report configuration.
Click to Delete a selected section or row in the report configuration.
